ABOUT US
Medical Drone Delivery is a medical logistics initiative by Drone Assisted, the UK drone pilot network, created to explore the operational support behind the next generation of healthcare transport.
We’re developing a specialist subcontractor model for medical drone operators, healthcare logistics providers and NHS organisations.
The idea is straightforward: bring the right people and regional support into an operator’s existing system, with responsibilities, training and procedures agreed before deployment.
As a Drone Assisted initiative, this initiative builds on a broader UK drone services network, including commercial drone pilot services. Medical transport requires its own operator specific training and clinical handling arrangements; general commercial drone experience alone is not enough.
Explore Drone AssistedTechnology gets a route into the air. People keep the entire journey working.
As networks develop, the practical questions become more important: who prepares the payload, supports the launch site, confirms the handover and responds when the original plan changes?
We’re building an offer around those questions, with the ambition to become a dependable specialist operations partner.
